Responsibilities
Employees may be required to perform some or all of the following:
· Translate clinical questions into analytical problems through collaborations with research teams to design, conduct, interpret and report an analysis.· Effectively document client requirements· Identify, access and utilise the appropriate data to support a question such as clinical data, observational data, healthcare data· Expertise in the robust extraction and integration of different data types· Build practical, high-quality solutions through the application of visualisation, analytical, machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques· Work with IT and quality assurance groups to ensure data science systems meet business requirements and industry best practices· Document, initiate and perform appropriate validation and/or QC for a project· Maintain a broad and deep understanding of quantitative research techniques, both current and emerging to better leverage appropriate data· Work alongside our director of data science to manage data science projects from proposal and contract discussions with clients to project delivery· Able to successfully lead, design and perform projects utilising machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms including model development, training, deployment, testing, refining and iterating· Develop and deliver company-wide training as and when required· Identify areas where new processes are required· Create, review and update processes and SOPs· Take responsibility for study compliance with SOPs and processes· Collaborate with other functions as required· Provide consultancy for data science projects· Attending and inputting into company resourcing meetings. Monitoring project resource usage against budgeted staff allocation by task
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in a Life Science, Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Knowledge or Experience in designing and conducting observational studies using epidemiological methods
- Experience with using Real World Data
- Programming skills to be able to analyse the data
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with others to achieve objectives
