As a Principal Statistical Programmer you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.
What you will be doing:
- Lead 1 or more study under minimal supervision
- Act as a subject matter expert within own discipline.
- Lead, or make a major contribution to, the planning and execution of multiple programming activities to deliver all required outputs
- Provide technical contribution to complex tasks
- Define, develops and embeds standards within study in accordance with applicable regulatory guidance’s, company and industry standards
- Anticipate problems within discipline, proactively uses own expertise and/or seeks input from others, to recommend solutions and influence appropriate change and appropriate time-management.
- Develop understanding of all applicable policies and procedures of GSK and drives adherence to the policies in the study level
- Anticipate compliance, quality or governance issues and proposes solutions to achieve resolution at study level
- Independently perform Quality Control (QC) of other people’s work and performs review of outputs for consistency
- Independently, prepare detailed oral or written summaries in the context of strategic fit, feasibility and rationale for projects appropriate to audience
- Work effectively and proactively in multi-disciplinary teams and a matrix environment through effective listening and active participation in challenging discussions
You are:
- Able to lead studies with minimal supervision.
- Able to demonstrate strong programming and domain expertise.
- Able to execute a wide range of programming activities with minimal supervision.
- Able to identify gaps in current programming best practices and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Minimum 8 years' experience within Statistical Programming in a clinical environment.
