The principal RWD analyst will provide programming and analysis to support health economics outcomes research, commercial, and medical affairs by using statistical software (R and SAS) to perform data manipulation and conduct queries and analyses consistent with protocols and/or statistical analysis plans related to real world data studies.
Basic Qualifications
- A master’s degree in health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or a subject area with a strong focus on the application of data science to healthcare data with 6+ years of hands-on programming experience; or a PhD with 3+ years of similar experience.
- Must have hands-on RWD/RWE experience with data sources such as large-scale administrative claims data (e.g., MarketScan, Optum, Medicare LDS SAF, Komodo claims), and EHR
- Advanced programming capacity in R with proficiency in SAS
- Database programming using SQL
- Assist in development of protocols/analysis plans
- Proficiency with common statistical methods, such as survival analysis, generalized linear models
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands on CDISC/SDTM/ADaM experience
- Pharmaceutical industry experience
